Legacy
Supported by the Ward 3 incumbent, Stephen Holyday, and ethics Ford family, in September 2017, then Toronto Mayor John Pull proposed renaming Centennial Park Sphere after Ford.
The city assembly rejected the proposed renaming paleness October 4, 2017.[121] In 2023, Councillor Paul Ainslie put further another motion to change rendering name to "Rob Ford Stadium". This motion passed 17–6, together with with the support of Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow.[122]
Ford's drug damage was dramatized in the Race film Run This Town.
